Are you a talented recruiting professional looking for an opportunity to showcase your skills in a globally recognized and highly successful organization? We have a unique opportunity for a passionate talent acquisition professional to act as a trusted talent advisor to key business stakeholders and support the talent acquisition strategy for our Risk and Legal businesses in the Americas, supporting a Financial Services client.
In this role, you will build and leverage a deep network of diverse, engaged professionals to meet the talent needs of our growing business. Partnering and consulting with hiring managers, HR Business partners and other senior stakeholders, you will deliver an excellent recruitment experience for all participants in the recruitment process. As part of your commitment to adding value to the process, you will oversee talent identification and pooling for key roles, support building the brand within target talent communities, manage qualified referrals and develop plans to target and attract diverse talent.
As a passionate people advocate, you will seek to ensure an exceptional candidate experience, so that all candidates have a positive experience with recruitment, regardless of outcome. This includes working with hiring managers to ensure an appropriate and candidate-centric selection process that provides the business with the information they need to make hiring decisions while thoughtfully engaging with candidates. You will also leverage your excellent negotiation skills and knowledge of internal and external benchmarks to propose, extend and close compelling offers with successful candidates.
Working as part of a broader team of dedicated recruiters, sourcers and recruiting coordinators, you will have the opportunity to collaborate and leverage best practices while also identifying opportunities for continuous improvement to share with your colleagues. You’ll be someone who can bring:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in recruiting, with a strong focus on risk and compliance roles in financial services
• Proven track record of successfully placing candidates in roles such as Risk Analysts, Compliance Officers, AML Specialists, and Regulatory Affairs
• In-depth knowledge of financial regulations (e.g., Basel III, Dodd-Frank, GDPR, MiFID II)
• Excellent understanding of various risk types (credit, market, operational) and compliance areas (AML, KYC, fraud prevention)
• Strong network within the financial services industry
• Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or related field preferred
• 3 days in Macquarie’s NY office required (address is 660 5th Ave)
